Mona Lisa
Year of creation: 1503-1506
Mona Lisa was painted at the beginning of the 16th century by the illustrious Leonardo da Vinci. Upon the death of the Great Master, it passed directly from the hands of Da Vinci to those of Francis I, King of France, thus becoming a heritage asset of the French Crown. Since then, it has been venerated, studied, protected, copied and commented on. Today, exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris and has been since the 19th century, it receives visits from more than 20,000 people every day.
